Boston University: Facing Fear, Trusting God #3

KLove’s encouraging word of the day: “If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.” Jeremiah 29:13

Listening to: Revelation Song // Phillips Craig & Dean

FYSOP is over and I’m relieved- not because it was a bad experience, but because I am completely exhausted. There is also still a ton of errands to run before classes start next Wednesday.

Because today was the last day of the program, groups did reflections and talked about their time together. This week was very powerful for me in particular because I met not one, not two, but three Christian girls. This week was insane because almost every day faith was a predominant part of some conversation we had while serving. The weird thing for me was that I am a very private person when it comes to talking about religion with people I don’t know very well, so at first the conversations caught me off guard, and I honestly listened most of the time. On Wednesday one girl so openly laid down what she believed in a very gentle but convicted way it made me want to have the same boldness.

I promise pictures will begin to accompany posts soon! Still getting settled over here 🙂

Blessings, Marissa
