Boston University: {Honey Pot Hill Orchards & Apple Picking, Part 1}

Because Monday was Columbus Day, there was no school! CRU Fenway went to Honey Pot Hill Orchards to go apple picking, which I have been told is a “New England” thing to do. I have a ton of fun photos, but here are the first few. The farm store was to die for! The are so many good things stocked, like fresh apple cider, fruit, homemade jams and spreads…I personally love the apple cider and the apple cider doughnuts. Very much worth the 40 minute wait 🙂 Fran and Dorothy also devoured the doughnuts with me, and since Fran devoured the doughnuts, the doughnuts must be good. (Fran loves doughnuts.)

I have three pounds of apples I don’t know what to do with, but thankfully my friend has an oven she’s letting me borrow…apple desserts, hip hop hooray!

The leaves on the trees are starting to change color here, and it’s beautiful!

Love, Marissa
