One of my favorite photographers/full-time Parisiennes is in Cannes right now, and I must admit that I have a small (okay, really large and ginormous) longing to see the south of France too. Although I will be there fall 2017, it’s a good thing I found La Note because the garden patio reminds me of the south of France!
The garden patio is so charming. As it’s spring—on the cusp of summer!—the patio had blooming flowers that were absolutely vibrant!
Also, can we pause for a moment and appreciate the table details?
The wall that encapsulates the patio is a vintage, cracked-in-all-the-right-places, yellow that only adds to the quaintness of the space.
I actually feel strangely reminded of Italy, too. But the food? French.
Can we admire the tomato for a second?
Sitting in a droll, faded wooden chair, at a café table spread with a whimsical blue-patterned tablecloth, with the sunshine and warm breeze, it felt like summer. As seasons change, I think you can feel it in the breeze. And sitting there, I knew it was summer.
