Sitting on the western end of San Francisco, just around the corner from Ocean Beach, is an expanse of the city known as Land’s End. Quite literally, it is the end. It’s also been a notorious spot where ships ran aground. Now, it’s a lovely state park with a view. It was beautiful. The ocean was that brilliant sea-green, Karl the fog was hovering just offshore, and the air was salty; a perfect ocean breeze.
